Context -

Slo. is looking for an energy consultant with a solid technical background in engineering and a strong interest in data and business analysis. You’ll work on impactful projects in the energy sector, including:

Smart Grid and Smart Metering
Sustainable energy production and optimization
Energy market flexibility and adequacy
Forecasting for energy asset management
Energy efficiency and digital transformation initiatives

Key responsibilities -

Engage with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
Analyze and model current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement
Conduct gap and impact analysis
Coordinate testing, deployment, and change management activities
Act as a bridge between business, IT, and engineering teams

What you will bring -

Master’s Degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Industrial Electronics, or Energy Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the energy sector, preferably in consulting or project-based roles
Strong analytical mindset with proven experience in business or process analysis
Familiarity with Smart Grid, metering systems, energy regulation, or market operations
Programming skills in Python or any other language are a plus

Language requirements -

Fluency in French and/or Dutch, with a strong willingness to improve the second language;
Proficiency in English is required

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving project contexts
Strong motivation to contribute to the energy transition and the development of modern energy systems
Excellent communication skills: ability to structure ideas, write concise documentation, and manage multiple topics simultaneously
