To reinforce this mission, we are looking for a passionate and analytical ESG Risk Analyst who will play a key role in shaping sustainable strategies and empowering clients to build organisations that can adapt, absorb shocks, and thrive in a rapidly changing world. 


Position details  -

As an ESG Risk Analyst, you will evaluate the environmental, social, and governance risks that influence organisational resilience, from climate-related impacts to regulatory shifts, social responsibility, supply‑chain vulnerabilities, and governance structures. 

You will work closely with internal teams and clients to assess risks, develop insights, and recommend strategies that strengthen resilience, improve transparency, and align with evolving sustainability frameworks. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning data into strategy, supporting clients, and driving meaningful sustainability outcomes.


Key responsibilities -

  • ESG Risk Analysis & Resilience 
    • Identify and assess ESG risks that may affect client operations, supply chains, or long‑term strategy. 
    • Conduct climate‑related scenario analyses (physical and transition risks) and ESG materiality assessments. 
    • Evaluate the robustness of client resilience plans and advise on enhancements. 
    • Develop ESG scoring methodologies, dashboards, and risk indicators. 
    • Analyse regulatory risks and emerging trends to guide clients toward resilient practices. 


  • Client Advisory & Strategic Guidance 
    • Support clients in integrating ESG considerations into enterprise risk management (ERM) systems. 
    • Provide recommendations that strengthen ecosystem resilience, adaptability, and sustainability performance. 
    • Translate complex ESG data into clear insights for boards, steering committees, and operational teams. 

 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration 
    • Collaborate with risk, sustainability, procurement, and strategy teams. 
    • Support workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and capability‑building initiatives. 

Requirements
    • Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field. 
    • 5+ years’ experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, climate risk, or risk analysis. 
    • Strong analytical and data‑modelling skills. 
    • Knowledge of ESG regulatory frameworks (CSRD, ESRS, SFDR, EU Taxonomy, Green Claims Directive, CBAM). 
    • Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders. 
    • Board-ready communication. 
    • Fluent level (C1) of French and/or Dutch, with a good understanding of the second language as well as a proficient level in English.  
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management/ time management skills to handle reporting requirements 
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex sustainability information effectively 
    • Reliable, well organized, analytical and result driven with high standards or ethics and professionalism 
    • Collaborative team player, but also with high levels of autonomy and accountability for your own work 
    • A genuine passion for sustainability and a desire to drive positive change.
